What I take for vites, as an FYI

There's always a lot of discussion about vitamins: what kind, what brand, OTC or bariatric-deigned, when to take them, etc. All I can tell you is what *I* do . . . please feel free to share YOU vitamin regimen (and it's "regimen", not "regime"!)

My diet probably would be okay without taking vites, but you never know if you're getting enough of everything when you're not eating a lot, so I DO take vitamins - when I remember to do it. I admit to being not-the-best at that!

I cannot do plain ol' swallowable (if that's a word) multi vites. They just lie there in my stomach, take forever to dissolve and leave no room for food. I've tried liquids and found them pretty awful. Gummies just do the trick for me: fun to eat, tasty, easy to get down.

Here are my vites:

Vitafusion MultiVites Gummy Vitamins for Adults, 2/day
Vitafusion Calcium Gummy Vitamins for Adults, 500 mg, 2/day
Vitafusion Energy B12 Gummy Vitamins for Adults,500 mcg, 2/day
Lil Critters Omega-3 DHA Gummy Fish, 2/day

I don't really worry much about calcium, since I eat and drink a lot of dairy (non-fat milk, non-fat yogurt) , but it never hurts.

YUM!  Gummi's are delicious....  Here's what I take....

Celebrate Multivitamin Chewable (The mandarin orange are pretty good)  1 every morning and evening
Celebrate Iron + Calcium (one pill; Tangerine tastes like candy) 1/day.  (around lunch)

I think I have a thing with orange, lol.   I was taking Flintstones vitamins, which I bought for my nephew--a huge bottle from Costco and I didn't want them to go to waste.  But I like the Celebrate brand MUCH better, lol...  Plus I can order them off of Amazon for a good deal.

I got all of these at Target, Walmart and BJ's Wholesale Clubs.

There used to be someone on here who insisted that we HAD to have Bariatric Advantage (or one of those brands.) When I asked my doc, who carries BA in his office, he said that band patients shouldn't waste their money on them, that regular OTC ones were fine.

Are there Kosher or vegitarian based gelatin gummy vites?

I take the Bariatric Advantage Calcium lemon chews, just because I really like them I order them online and they ship free.

I also take Centrium Multi vitamin chew in orange. They are good too. I order them online thru Walmart.

Haven't started anything else as I am eating pretty good. Had my labs done last month and no problems.
