Odd OH Member Services post

 At the top of the message board page is a post entitled, "Considering LAP-BAND WLS?"

When you click on it, you get this:

There isn't anything like this on any forum for any other procedure (I checked.) Does this strike anyone else as odd? Is OH acting as an enabler for the LB surgery?

 Bette....this REALLY upset me !!!  I just went to the OH Leader Board and posted the link and questions that you have posted and asked for OH to please explain the reaoning for this post.    ALL the WLS procedures and nothing MORE THAN TOOLS !!!  WE are the ones who govern the success or failures of each surgery.    I can't imagine them bashing the lap band surgery.    I will try go get to the bottom of that for you if at all possible.    I have a niece who has lost over 150 lbs. with the Lap band surgery.    All the surgeries can have failures !!!  NONE of them are failure - proof.    But then again if the truth is known it is ALL about us following the rules of the TOOL that we are blessed to have and all about our choices which makes us a success or a failure.    IMHO ALL the WLS are equal....none are above the other.     I will try to get some answers for you if at all possible.    Thank you for posting this and for me seeing it.    Have a great day !!!!

 Bette....I personally just sent Member Services a email.   Hopefully you will have answers soon.   I am just a support group leader and do NOT work for OH.    I'm glad that I saw this.

OH is in the process of designing banners for the other boards.  The Lap Bandboard was the first one to  go up.  Others will be posted in a few days.
