Having a Hard Time With Motivation
I am having such a hard time with my diet and getting motivated to get back on a good eating track. Last year this time I was down 121 lbs working out and eating well now I am down 97 lbs and it's such a sad thing to me. I started a job that I don’t care for at all that is very boring and to stay awake I eat junk food and it has caught up with me. Has anyone else had this issue with motivation and how did you combat it. I don’t want to gain anyone weight but my drive is just gone. HELP if you can.
Maintainance has been difficult for me too. I am worse off than you, I gained back about 35 pounds. However, I don't want to loose it all. I have been told by several people I got too thin. I also think if I loose 10-15 of it, it will be that much easier to maintain.
Sorry you are not enjoying your job. Can you snack on healthy things that you like. Maybe nuts in moderation, cheese sticks, fruit, veggies. Getting back to working out would be awsome too. You can do it! Oh another thought, do you need a fill? You may want to go into your surgeon and discuss how you are doing. Don't let the weight gain stop you, they have seen it before for sure. Good luck!

Hello Tonya: I totally understand what you are going through. I was unmotivated to do anything for 2 years as was just maintaining my weight loss (not at goal). I decided to do Weigh****chers and that has totally helped. I now have accountability and motivation at the meetings and am actually walking in the mornings (I never exercised -- hate it). So far since the beginning of March I have lost 10 lbs. and feel great. I'm not trying to do this fast, but at a normal loss of 1-2 lbs. per week. You know what you have to do, you just have to do it.
Good Luck!
