VSG on 04/15/13

How long did you wait from removing band to having RNY. My surgeon said 1 year. He said he hated to take it out because everything looked so good given the fact that all I did after the first year was foods getting stuck and vomiting even with no fills. I just think 1 year is more time than normal. What is your thought?
