Bagel Blues....
There are these 100 calorie flat bagels. I cut one in half and will toast it, then top it with ham, lite mayo, a little lettuce and onion, no fat cheese...I melt it and eat it that way. I take small bites and chew, chew, chew! It worked out well, no problems. I just had a fill on Monday and I won't be trying it again for awhile.

If I do try to eat some of a bagel, I core all the dough out of the shell and toast the shell til crisp. That usually allows me to get in about 3/4 of half a bagel. For those dying for a sandwich...go to an asian market and get spring roll wrappers. I made steak and cheese subs or a blt using them... wrap your sandwich fillings in the spring roll wrapper and toast in the toaster oven until crisp. Yummy and satisfying...and a wrapper is only 20-30 calories.
