Jean sorry to hear you need a revision

Shell I understand what you are saying. But you have no ideal all the horrible, insulting things she has said to me in the past. She also has claimed more than once that the band doesn't fail, the bandters fails! All things considered though, 2 wrongs don't make a right, and I do realize that was tacky of me to make some of those comments.

Jean I'm sorry for the issues you are having. Did you know we were banded exactly 1 day apart? I got mine 9/18/07. I was just revised on Feb 9th from the band to the sleeve in one procedure (took 5 hours though). I did have slight esophageal dilation and my band slipped 5 cm and I had a metric **** ton of scar tissue that was cleaned up during my surgery. I don't know what achalasia is so our situations aren't identical. But I just wanted you to know that I was revised with the dilation and scar tissue and I feel great! I had an excellent surgeon.

Edit: And insuranc covered it. I have BCBS with no WLS exclusions of any kind.

I missed this thread the first time around.  I was off cruising back than.

My situation is very similar to yours...but it's not 20 years of silent reflux.  Band gone, so's the achalasia...Ahmazing.
