Revision on 08/16/12
Ann,

I like and respect you a great deal. I'd be happy to call a cease fire, but that ony works if both parties agree and comply. Since Maria's agenda is more complicated than losing weight, I can't rely on her to keep a truce. So I have blocked her and you won't have to witness any more negative interactions between us.

Jean I think you rock!!!    I love your band book, and you did all you could do to help people with the band!!   In fact if you get a revision I think it would be great for you to diary your new journey, and damn it make a book about it!!!  As we all know the weight loss journey is to different for everyone, and if you can teach and share hope, then you need to do it!!!  Good luck to you!!

Jean, please know I was just joking about writing a book. I have great respect for you as a writer and love your Bandwagon book and cookbook which I am trying not to stain! Great books. I know you have learned long ago that you can't please everyone and for the 2nd time I say to you....I admire your restraint. Sorry Maria but you've taken this too far, IMO.

Sorry about your band Jean.  I like reading your weekly Bandwagon emails, and find a lot of information in your posts.  I wish you all the best.

Jean,

I'm so sorry to hear about what is going on with your band .  A friend of mine   just had her band removed it slipped so bad and she got her band about 4 months before me , so I'm nervous about everything now.  She started to have problems when she started to get fills .  All I can say is right now I'm thankful I dont have a fill yet , doc said a fill would put to much restriction on my band during my yearly exam and he dont want to go there ,   which I'm kinda glad after hearing about my friend.

I hope things go well with you and you can get your revision .

I will be curious how the revision works out with insurance. A few months ago I got very tight and thought I had a slip, I went in for an unfill and asked if I ever needed a revision would insurance approve it. They said most likely not bc I am not Obese anymore.

I'll be honest, the future of the band scares me. It doesn't look very bright. I have already had a band swap and statistically it seems like there will be more issues in the future for banders including myself.

You might want to visit the FB failed band group. There is a link below. There are some members on there that have had slips and vaious other band complications and have gotten revised with a low BMI.

Good luck!

Funny you say that bc as soon as I typed that response I went over and requested to join the failed LB group. Revision is ALWAYS in the back of my mind so I thought maybe I would find out how lower BMI failed bands got insurance to pay for revision.

Not that I am in ANY way involved in the childish behavior that I have seen exhibited over the years...but I thought you were better then this post.
