I have the Realize Band.  I have Medicare & Anthem/Blue Cross.  It has covered everything except the meetings with the nutritionist.

A hospital 20 miles from me is not rated a center of excellence, so Medicare will not cover surgery there, however, when I drove up to Bangor, they meet all the requirements.

Have you talked or met with the Bariatric group yet?  They should be able to let you know for sure.

if you have diabetes then the nutritionist can be billed under diabetes for Medicare. The only thing is that the nut cannot be done on the same day as you see your surgeon for some crazy reason.  Just an FYI
I've been on prednisone and chemo for over 7.5 years.  Gained over 160 pounds due to pred. Highest wt. 410. Surgery wt. 365. Current wt. 299
