hair loss, please help

I've lost a significant amount of hair over the past 4 years.. even before being banded.  My nurses tried to tell me it was Telogen Effluvium, but I didn't think so as the hair loss started before weight loss.

Unfortunately, my hair loss is due to hormonal imbalance secondary to total hysterectomy and oopherectomy for cancer.

Fortunately, I had LOTS of hair to begin with, so now the amount of hair I have is similar to what others have normally.

I still miss and grieve my thick hair though.. so I do understand.  I take biotin, My protein levels are very high.

Dermatologist says this is a permanent condition.  Nothing to do to make it regrow.. best I can do is to prevent further loss.  Sigh.
