Short and to the point, I adore Kate, Bette and all the others who have had great success with their bands, kudos to them. I also love Maria and NM because they warn everyone of the dangers and discouragement of bands that don't work. I think we need it all, could we do it in a nicer manner? Sure we could but we're human and have our emotions. It must be an awesome feeling to watch the pounds slowly (or rapidly) fall off. All I ask is to remember for all the joy successful bandsters feel we who have had little to no loss are equally as devastated and maybe we get a little too emotional about it. So love 'em or hate 'em they are here and we all have to deal with them one way or the other. By the way I don't believe revision is the be all end all but sometimes it does help. I love all of my OH friends!

I actually don't think you have to vomit a lot to cause a slip, but I do think being too tight is a big culprit. I think may band slipped very early one (multiple times really, what they call a dynamic slip) and vomiting was very, very rare for me. However, I do think I was too tight. I was a newbie, and I thought the discomfort when I ate and things like getting stuck and sliming on a sudafed tablet were to be expected. I think I suffered from what a LOT of us suffer from, a lack of really good, comprehensive education at the outset.
