That does not make any sense, did they give you an explanation on why your band can't be filled again? Usually if the band has slipped they will not fill it again if there is permanent damage.
You left a lot of information out for anyone to truly help you.

I do have to agree with the previous poster... you have to find out what they meant by that.. If there is a problem with the band, you may need to have something done...
And serious doubtful--- did you know between 2008 and 2011 that there was an issue with your band?? What had hapened to it? had it twisted? If so, why did you wait so long to get it fixed??
I hope everything is ok!!! Scary

Marypatf..... no time between 2008 and 2011 did I have any issues other than my typical "good food" - "bad food" days which my doctor told me was normal. I had problems digesting chicken, and several other foods, however, no other signs of anything happening.
I had my gallbladder out later in 2008 or early 2009, don't remember exactly when, where that doctor took a picture of the band and it seemed fine at that time also.
The band had to have been slipped for a while before the final damage, however, I had absolutely NO signs. By the time that I ended up in emergency surgery, I had gangrene set in, the band had gotten tangled into my liver and stomach. I had severe left shoulder pain (just the final 2 days), which I had no idea was a sign of something wrong with the band itself.
If I had any clue that there was a problem, then I would definately get it taken care of sooner.... :(
