Can anyone tell me about this protein shake?

My co-worker recently started to drink this shake called Casein (gold standard). It has 3 carbs and is about 24 grms of protein. It's a slow releasing protein so you don't feel hungry as fast and she said it works. She gave me a little sample because I didn't want to pay $40 for something I am going to hate. But, what I want to know is, is it bad for you? I tried googling it and I am so confused. Can anyone shed some light on this for me pretty please? Thank you!!

 Looks like, from what I am seeing on Wikipedia, that it is a protein commonly found in mammal milk and used in cheesemaking.  Wikipedia said it forms a gel like clot in the stomach providing a longer sense of fullness.  Sounds ideal to me!

How did it taste?

It tasted OK. It wasn't amazing but I only tried it with milk. I didn't try it with water. That's what I am going to try for supper after my workout I think.

My favorite protein drink - I am extremely picky and have tried everything!  Is this one:

You can get the chocolate at Costco.  I order the Vanilla from the website and add it to the blender with greek yogurt and fruit and ice!  I drink it all night at work.  It keeps me satiated and it's like a milk shake!

This is a good breakdown of proteins basically it is slow releasing so it will take longer to digest. But Cottage cheese is also casein.

So I tried it mixed with Almond Milk, i think is what it was called, the unsweetened kind and it was great!!! Think I am going to order me some this week!
