Unfilled and question

I've been unfilled for a month and have managed to gain 10 pounds  I went in for a fill and it was too tight.  I swelled up and couldn't keep anything down. So that is why they unfilled me.  They are making me get and EGD just to make sure everything is okay and that I don't have a slip. (I'm almost 3 years out and never had any problems). 

I'm sure everything is fine and that I was just swollen from the fill.  I haven't had any problems since being unfilled. 

My question is when I go back to get filled again, will they take me back up to where I was before the last fill, or do they do it gradual like they do right after surgery??  I"m guessing each doctor might do it differently...just wanted to see what others experiences were...

EGD next wed...yeah!!

I am 23 mo out. last time i had a fill was a year ago . everything was ok. Recently like oct i was having indigestion and they took out .75 and did an upper gi so i was tight. Saw the dr 2 weeks later was told my pouch was draping over and there was a tiny hole to let foo go through and i washaving problems. Throwing up and night coughing. They too took out 2cc. I have been fine. I am hungrier a lot. I started gaining weight. I got back to journaling my food and lost two lbs. hope thats a start. I am going for another upper GI in two weeks then a dr appointment in 3 and hope to get a little put in. My pa said he will only put in a little at a time.
Don't know how this happens out of no where but these bands are fickle.

it was my experience to SLOWLY fill you back up, just like when you started out.
i would be very leery if they wanted to put you back at your last fill level.

I had about 8cc's in an 11 cc band.  I was hoping they would at least put in 6-6.5 cc's to get me started again....

I guess it's better to be safe then sorry that's for sure.

They only gave me a little to get me started and (for me) it hasn't done anything.  Since I'm self-pay now,  I really have to work at it because the fills are expensive.  Wish you the best with your fills.
