I know everyone is different, but I'm going to ask anyways
I had a fill about three weeks ago because I was not feeling any restriction, so they gave me 1cc, making my total 7 1/2 ccs. I finally feel like this is working because I can only eat small amounts and I've lost 4 or 5 lbs. I was just wondering when did you reach your sweet spot???? My doctor said that most patients reach theirs around 7 or 8 ccs... thanks for your response.

Congrats on the new weight loss!
Mine was at 2 cc. at 2.5 I tend to get stuck more often. I have been as high as 3cc but that didn't last . You are the only one who can decide for you. Listen to your body. Remember, too, that the object is not to be so snug that your band forces you to stop eating but to be able to eat smaller portions and stay free of hunger pains for 3-5 hours. Good luck to you, Sue

I got to mine at about 9.7 ccs. My band holds 11ccs...so it's almost filled completely. That said I should mention I can still eat too much sometimes...and I wish I can tell you I always stop myself. I can still eat too much of some things...and I have to use my own will power 80% of the time. My band only helps me feel content after a small meal that doesn't mean that the small voice in my head doesn't kick in and try to sabotage me and tell me "eat more" or "you should eat some cookies" or " instead of turkey you should eat a cheeseburger"....I can do all of these things and my band doesn't prevent me from doing any of them.

I am having my 2nd fill on Monday. They are going to add about 2cc to bring it up to four. I hope that this reaches the right amount for me. My doctors office does it slowly. Michelle.
