My First NSV Post-Op

Hello,

I have just celebrated my first non scale victory!  However I will freely admit it is nowhere near as good as slimdownunder01's NSV which is awesome!  But for me it is a great start.  I had my band  surgery on 12/8/11. The day after surgery I went Christmas shopping.  I had a coupon that expired the next day for $20 off at Kohl's so I bought a new belt anticipating the upcoming weight loss.  It barely fit around my waist with only about an inch of overlap, but I was looking forward to the future and I was a bit unclear in my thinking having had surgery less than 24 hours before!  Well yesterday my old belt bit the farm (probably from boredom since it was on the last hole and getting loose).  I tried on my new belt and lo and behold it fit, but even better it is on the next to last hole!  Guess I am going to need another belt soon, but I am excited by that change!

Excellent NSV!  Congratulations!

While it can be expensive replacing belts every 40-50 lbs, it's soooo worth it!

You're off to a great start!

Best~

That's awesome...I recommend keeping the belts so you can see how far you've come.  It is a great motivator!!

I also am getting close to needing a new belt as well!! ;o)
