Thank you everyone for the responses. I spoke with the nurse practitioner.  He is getting me an appointment in two weeks where they will take all of the fill out of the band.  I will also have another upper GI that day.  Then he is going to help me see the surgeon to get the paperwork and process started to have the band removed.  I appreciate all of your support and will update after my appointment in two weeks!
