Still hungry.

 Hello, I had the lap band surgery a month ago.  I have not had my first fill yet.  Is it normal to still be hungry?  I am not feeling the benefits yet.  My weight loss was before the surgery.  I am following the plan and exercising just about every day.  I pray that my weight loss is quicker.

your band just isnt there yet, I had a fill a month for a year before i got my perfect sweetspot and not i go in and out for a 1/4 fill depending on where i am.. make sure you are good with your doc. They will try tro tell you what to do and not to do, and thats ok..but as time goes on, you know your body and how it works with the band, and you will know what you need.. dont get discouraged!!! I know alot of people who got the band and their docs are"slow" about fills, and they give up...DONT DO IT!!!! i lost 130 pounds in the first 9-10 months and went from a 26/28 to a 4 and let me tell you......nothing tastes better than that!!!! good luck

Reading your post is inspiration to me...I started, Dec 1st, banded.  I'm about the same size as you and love that you've succeeded.  I find I'll need patience, but as long as I'm excited and continuing to loose, I'll be focused!
