Oh yeah, and even though I am not taking anything in, now I am spitting/burping up some foul dark brown stuff. It is bitter and gross. and all i can do is swish and spit until he checks me tomorrow.

Maybe you should go to the ER.

If it was bright red, I would have been off to the ER faster that Santa Clause.  The strangest thing is, when I lay down, I can feel my band working.  I can feel saliva that I swallow slip through the band (it makes the oddest noises).

TMI WARNING
I am half wondering if I don't have a stomach flu.  Hubby had a case of the bubble guts a few days ago, and the 4 bm's that I have has been liquid.  Of course, it could be my body's reaction to surgery.  Who knows.  Will find out more today and update.

If you're talking about  " The circling of the drain noise " then that is a completely normal sound that your band will occasionally make.

please be careful both myself and my internal medicine dr thought I had the tummy bug but after going to have a barium swallow Tues morning I was admitted into the ER for a emergency endoscopy from food being impacted.  Keep us updated on how you are doing.  I hope you are feeling much better by your next post.

any ER dr can set her up on an IV for fluids - to prevent dehydration which the OP is desparately approaching...if not there already.

She needs to go to the ER for I.V. fluids which any doctor can do, any doctor can look for the source of her bleeding. If she were to go to the hospital her surgeon performed her procedure out of then the hospital could notify her surgeon. If she had it done in her surgeons surgery suite at his office, well then she should still have been seen at the ER for fluid replacement and to have the vomiting checked out.

Your advice to her in this case is not wise at all.
