Banded on Tuesday!
Move as much as you can. Stretch your arms above your head. OTC gas meds. Heated pad. Hope t goes soon for you!
Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
What Kate said.. :) Just keep moving. And this thought just occurred to me....and for any other preop out there lurking. PLEASE don't be afraid to post any problems you have because the key to resolving problems seems to be how QUICKLY we recognize there IS a problem. Too easily the lure of rapid weight loss can keep us locked in an unhealthy bond with our band..or maybe we were so GUNG HO about the band that now one might be embarrassed to come back and say they actually need help.
Now, all this being said, I'm a pretty positive person and like to focus on the good so I HOPE YOU HAVE A FANTASTIC JOURNEY. If you get overwhelmed reading here, STOP..take a break..but don't put your head in the sand. Knowledge is the only real power we have, IMO.
Thanks for listening. Just trying to help.

Also, staying in touch can let you know that you are not alone in this, whether you're having issues or not.
Especially for those of us with problems or lack of weight loss, the shame felt can make you retreat and hide. That's the worst thing we can do.
It's hard to figure out what's normal and not normal being banded, but communication is key!
