4 bites go down fine...THEN....

Alot of the time when Im eating I take a few bites...they go down fine...and I feel normal...then one more bite and its over...I have to run to the bath room and throw it up...its all slimey and odd...does this happen to anyone?

Is your band too tight, maybe?  I don't know what to tell you. I couldn't eat solid foods at all when I was banded. My stomach always became inflamed and swollen.

It seems like 4 bites is too little, however. You don't want to become malnourished.  Have you spoken to your surgeon at all about it? Maybe a fluoroscopy Xray would show if there was something amiss?

 That just recently happened to me. Then I got bad heartburn. A bit of an unfill and like magic i was ok.

I had an unfill...I dont even have much in my lapband Ive only had 2 fills and 1 unfilled

You may need another unfill. My band had two positions: completely open just like pre-op and nothing goes down.

Wouldn't hurt to ask your doctor to use fluoroscopy to check that the band is in its proper place as well.
