Shopping! Join in.........
Get ready! Here it comes...........a thread I started where I'm not *****ing about anything! Lol.
I am sooooooo getting into the holiday spirit. I have already finished about 75% of my Christmas shopping. One thing I look forward to each year is Black Friday. Love it! Now I'll admit, I'm not a hard core BF shopper. You won't find me camped out at Best Buy at 7:30 Thanksgiving night.........but I will be hitting the sales when I get up. :-)
So here are a couple of websites you all might want to check out in advance. The first one I have been using for about 5 years. The next one I just discovered this year.

So give me your best holiday shopping tips. What are some of the kick ass bargains you have found? If you camped out, how long and in what temps???

I loooooove shopping on Black Friday! I look forward to it every year. This year I am taking my 17 year old with me, but probably won't be out long b/c I have to work. I usually take the day off, but I am just going back to work so I don't have the vaca to do it.
I usually check out www.black-friday.net, they usually have the ads up before anyone else
I like to go to Old Navy to start. The last few years they gave an item for free with a purchase. This year they are giving away a Kodak easy share camera with a $40 purchase. Supplies are limited so we will probably get there around 9pm...they open at midnight. I won't camp out the night before for ANY sale. A 3hr wait in line is long enough for me. I usually don't go near Toys R us, but I might this year for the Ipod b/c u get a $50 gift card with it.
Usually electronics are not worth it on Black Friday. That is what everyone wants and its just not worth it to me. You can usually get good deals on them anyways AFTER, so I look for deals with incentives.
If you shop at Walmart, there is no need to get there as soon as they open. They usually order bulks of items and have so much left over that I can go on Saturday and get it and it is still the same price as the early bird specials they advertise! The only thing they do sell out of is Flat screens, Blue rays, and sometimes the game systems.

Yeah electronics is the big draw. Usually such a limited quantity of the good deals though. I do resent that they don't tell you how many the store will have. That way you could judge if you even have a shot at getting the super deals.
I go get a lot of good other stuff on BF though. Clothes, small appliance, jewelry, etc. I just have never had the incentive to wait in line for hours for the electronics.
I'm debating on if I'm gonna go BF shopping this year. I just got a new dog 2 weeks ago and tomorrow will be our 3rd trip to the vets already! :-( BF shopping may consist of more antibiotics.
