Burping....

Hello, everyone!!
Well, I am a little over 2 weeks post band.  So far, so good.  I'm on pureed food for 2 more weeks   I really want a sandwich so stinking bad....but oh well.  haha
My question is.... Is burping normal post banding?  I mean, I burped before the band, but mainly after drinking a soda or something.  But now, I burped after every meal, after drinking water, while lying in the bed, etc.  It's just odd that I'm burping that much now.  Just tell me it's normal  hahaha

 It's normal, unless it's painful. Enjoy it.

 I only burped occasionally after surgery until I started on solids and then watch out I could out burp a man  

Does it hurt when you burp?  If so maybe speak to your Dr about taking pepcid or zantac before you eat.

oh the burping in my case its kind of funny, when ever i burp i get the hungry feeling lol so its like a releaf and when i fart i have to use the bathroom so :P i laugh and enjoy my band :)

I am almost 2 weeks post op and i have the same thing going on!! And I rarely burped before the band....its a weird sensation!!!
