I had my 1st fill yesterday the Dr told me 24 to 48 hrs on liquids.  I thought since I did well on the liquids for the first 24 hours that I would have some mushy...MISTAKE!!!  Apparently my body was NOT ready!!! Now I completely understand what yall mean with the stuck episode.  I did not think I would ever stop vomiting.  For the 1st time I now feel like I really have something in there.

Stuck episodes suk! I am lucky, I guess, I don't throw up, it just really hurts.  Also, I am one of the ones papaya enzymes really work on when it hurts. Hope you do well!

After a stuck episode where I actually vomit, I give my band and tummy a rest with fluids only for a day.  I have only had a few stuck episodes, however.  If you continue getting stuck on mushies - you may be too tight and you may need to call your doctor.  Don't pu**** with a too tight fill - that is where problems can occur.  Good Luck!  Stuck episodes do suck!

yup when i get that stuck feeling, i'm in so much pain! Sometimes i need to go make myself throw up, but other times i try to just breathe deeply and let the food attempt to go down thru the band.....that could take 10 to 30 minutes.

luckily I only had the one episode I have moved back to solids and have not had problems with anything  my intolerance to hot and cold items are still there but if it is at room temperature I do well with it.
