Coming Up on Two Years Out (New Photo)
I don't visit so much anymore because of most of the bull**** that flies on this board but I am back to droip in and give a brief update. I started Jan 2010 on this journey at 371. I have weighed as low as 288 and gained all the way back to 330's. After almost two years I think I have come to grips with who I am and my relationship with food.
Most of my failure came from having the surgery, following the eating portion of my band rules, and expecting the weight to fall off... that caused me to gain 50lbs back
Most of my success has come from having the surgery, following all the band rules, exercising, and watching the weight come off.... almost 100lbs 8 months ago...
Now I am back on track. I follow my band rules probably 90% of the time. I slip up still a few times. Eat more than I should in one setting, drink too soon, etc. I commute on my bike to work 13 miles round trip almost everyday, and lifting weights 2 to 3 times a week. I am teetering at 305 right now. I have included a pic below:

Congrats on staying in the race and doing the right thing for you by not giving up! I just celebrated my two year bandiversay and am 23 lbs higher than the 1st year but still 103 lbs down from my highest weight so I'm still celebrating victory. It is so easy to lose your way but its finding it that makes everything alright again.
