New to site and 4 weeks out
ALSO when did yall go out to eat for the 1st time and what did u have? I am craving mexican. :)
i recommend you stay away from anything too chewy or tough. Enchiladas, soft ground beef
tacos or taco salad (you can always eat around the chips)ad?? mmmmm lots of possibilities there!
darn. Now I'm hungry for Mexican food.
P.S. I meant to add that you probably should be careful not to try too many
"new" foods in one meal...that way it will be easier to know if you have
any problems with a certain food. ENjoy your evening!

When I was 5 weeks out, I was following my nutritionist's eating plan, emphasizing lean proteins, healthy fats, and complex carbs (fruits, veggies, grains). Except for a few risky foods (see list below), I basically ate everything, but in very small amounts. I did avoid baked goodies (like donuts, pastry, cake, cookies) and junk food (like chips, fries, fast food).
The risky foods (& beverages) I was told to avoid were: seeds & skins of raw fruits & vegetables, sugar, alcohol, carbonated beverages, fruit juice (liquid calories), caffeine, dry meat, shrimp, untoasted or doughy bread, pasta, rice, very fibrous veggies (asparagus, celery, cabbage, corn, etc.), popcorn, shredded coconut, and greasy or fried foods.
So I ate: moist cooked poultry, fish, beef, pork, lamb, fish, tofu; eggs, cheese, cottage cheese, protein shakes made with FF milk, yogurt; oatmeal, sweet potatoes, beans, barley, various cooked fruits and veggies, raw bananas, toasted whole grain bread, whole grain crackers...oh, probably more than that. A little bit of everything, eaten very carefully.
Like you, I can easily get bored eating the same foods all the time. Food boredom is what sends me off into the dangerous land of junk food!
