MEAL GUIDE
CAN SOME OF YOU PLEASE GIVE ME SOME GUIDANCE ON DAILY MEAL GUIDES.. I HAVE LOST A TOTAL OF 35 POUNDS, ONLY 14 POST OP(4 WEEKS AGO).. I KNOW WHAT THE NUT SAYS, BUT ITS NOT REALLY HELPING ME. I GUESS I NEED AN ACTUAL DAILY PLAN TO FOLLOW. I AM VERY PICKY SO I AM FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO FIND FOODS I WILL EAT, SO BASICALLY IM LIVING OFF EGGS, COTTAGE CHEESE, TUNA, AND CHICKEN... CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE DETAILED DAILY MEAL PLANS AND TIMES.... IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED....
Here is what I ate yesterday:
6-7am - Coffee w/Splenda & FF Half & Half
8am - Protein Shake (I'm tight in the morning so solid food is difficult)
12noon - Cobb Salad (chicken, salad, avocado, creamy balsamic)
6pm - Pork Chop (slow cooker), cucumber salad w/tomatoes, salad spritzer
Good Luck!

First of all, take ONLY out of how much weight you have lost post-op. You lost 14 pounds in 4 weeks- that averages to me over 3 pounds per week which far exceeds any doctor's goals for lap bands. You are doing great.
Also, eating the same thing over and over again is not necessarily a bad thing- I lost 250 pounds eating an egg beaters omlette thing I concocted for breakfast, tuna for lunch and chicken or fish for dinner with very little variety. Now I change it up regularly, but didn't do much of that for the first year I was banded. You are now eating to live instead of living to eat. Once you have a routine down you can throw in some variety, but having a small list of your go-to foods right now may help you form the habits you are going to need for the rest of your life.
That being said The World According to Eggface always has some great recipe ideas and you may also find some on our Banded Living site at www.bandedliving.com/public/department119.cfm
