I took Cymbalta for my fibro and it really helped. I had all those side effects plus I had the added bonus of rage. The higher they upped my dosage the angrier I became. I had to go cold turkey off of it ( not recommended ) I would consider taking it again at a much lower dose, but my new ins doesn't cover it. I probably need to appeal this huh

I'm not familiar with the drug, but it could also be a band issue.  If you took the pill and went to bed it may have dissolved in your esophagus or pouch and never made it to your stomach.  Maybe try taking it 2 hours before bed or before you lay down to give it a chance to go all the way through your stoma.

I've taken meds before that got stuck and it was painful and caused nausea.

When in doubt, call your Dr. and ask the question.

Take care,
Lisa O.

I took cymbalta for approx.. 2 weeks and had to get off of it.  It made me feel so yucky and absolutely crazy.  I now take Neurontin and Metanx  I do not feel 100% but I can certainly tell a huge difference.  Good luck & I hope you feel better soon
