I have been the same weight +/- 2 lbs since last March. I've gotten so much encouragement from here that I think I would've given up without it long before now.

Patience pays off. I've noticed JUST since my 1 yr anniversary that my appetite has dimmed
quite a bit. I can eat just a 1/2 dozen bites and be satisified. I have no band issues(thank goodness) I can't remember the last time I got "stuck". I wish I could say I was exercising more but I'm not there yet.

But I AM only 10 pounds away from ONE-DER-LAND. The scale is finally moving down!!!!
From 266 to 210. Yippee!!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE!!

that is great, not giving up, I just stepped on the scale today, terrified of the number I might see (233), because my clothes were getting tight, and I was hippier in a couple of dresses. Well the # was 220, quite a difference, and a gain of less than 10 lbs. So I pulled out my old weigh****cher stuff to get started, following the bandster rules, it is a good combination. With the weather starting to cool, I will be adding exercise as well. I hope we can both reach onderland this year. Wouldn't that be great. I haven't been below 200 in many years, maybe 10.

Keep up what your doing, add the excersise! It has so many benefits, just one being weight loss. Start out slow and gradually increase your duration/intensity. I started just slowly walking on the treadmill for 20 minutes. I gradually worked up to jogging for 30 or walking briskly on an incline for 45. It's so tough to get started, at least it was for me, but it's become a matter of routine. You can do it!

Thank you so much ladies.  I really am going to make an effort this week to exercise.  I took a 5 lb dumbell to use at work on my breaks.   I have an artificial knee so there won't be any jogging in my future but that treadmill sitting upstairs has been nagging me - voice getting louder and louder!  I have an elliptical machine  too but its a cheap model that makes me lean too far forward.  I would like to trade the stationary bike and elliptical for a BETTER elliptical machine.

Ugh. Exercise. A 4 letter word in my book.

Good for you Joelena. I also need to get back to excersing so I understand that part. It's just been so hot here and I like to walk. So pretty soon it will be getting cooler.

Great Job!  We can do this. I started walking with my Mother in the evenings last week and my scale shows a 5# loss! This is not power walking just a good steady pace for about 30-45 minutes. Wish I was back at 210. I have about 30 pounds to go.
