Donuts? Seriously?
On Monday? Someone brought cookies to work.
On Tuesday? They had a treat day for someones birthday so everyone in the group brought cookies to work.
On Wednesday? What the heck - more cookies!!!
So it's Thursday. I come in. And now we have donuts. And all of this food is always sitting on the cabinet right next to my desk. We have a lot of space here... empty desks due to the economy.
Lord? Help me please?

Luckily there are only two left. We do have a guy here at work who usually skips breakfast/lunch in order to save food for his kids (bless his heart), so I emailed him to let them know there are donuts. That will knock one more out of the box. I can handle a face-off with the bagels.
I'm plateau'd right now. Went to the OH conference up in Bellevue WA this past weekend. After attending some of the breakouts I realized this particular plateau is in in my head & up to me.
So back to basics, focus on protein, and kick up the exercise... Cookies & Donuts were not in my plan!

We have a food day at work every month that I look forward to every month. It's my once a month indulgence. I let myself sample whatever I want...but just a little of each.
But I know what you mean. Last week someone brought in donuts too and not the crappy Dunkin Donuts, donuts....the really yummy local bakery donuts. Oh yummy. There was a chocolate with sprinkles!!! But...I walked away and didn't even have one. I went back to my desk and ate 1/2 an apple with peanut butter. I was too full after that to eat the donut. When I went back towards the donuts later that day...they were all gone!!! Yeah!!! I held strong!!!!
Yes! These were the good local donut-shop donuts - not the machine-made chain store stuff.
But I made it!!! They're all gone now!!! Yay!!! I had my greek yogurt for breakfast, I'm having my protein plate with some grapes, went for my 1/2 hour walk, already slammed one bottle of water. So it's been a good food day so far. Whew!

At work people know I have the band and if there's something really tempting, I ask someone to eat what I normally would have eaten. hahahaha For some reason it helps. hahaha
