Soooo I have not been a good bander in the vitamin department, but went to the dr yesterday and was given a great multivitamin to take.  My problem is WHEN do I take it?? I tried taking it this morning (on an empty stomach) and it was no bueno... How do you guys do with vitamins??

I always take my Centrum chewable with iron just before brushing my teeth in the morning.

I usually have a couple of cups of coffee in me by then.  My vit levels are always good and no tummy upsets so far.

I also take Centrum Chewable with Iron.. and I take it before lunch with a chewable Vit. C (to help the iron absorb) and don't have any problems.

Is your vitamin a chewable?   If you have to swallow it whole, I'd suggest drinking something warm first.  Check the literature that came with it and see if it says to take on an empty tummy or with food.

Take multi-vitamins gummy form.  I also take vitamin D and cod liver oil soft gel.  For gas I like the chewable bromelin, pineapple flavored.  Take it all first thing in the morning.  No problems.  Don't take any other meds. Howpe things work out for you.

I take bandbuddies chewable bariatric vitamins, the pack says take 2 a day. So I take one in the morning and one in the evening, to make absorption and delivery equal through the day.

My nutritionist recommended taking any non-chewable tablets with yoghurt instead of liquids if there are problems with things getting stuck, he reckons they go down smoother. I am only on 2 fills so no restriction yet and have no problems swallowing tablets.
