I think there's a feature where you can tag a message as offensive. Or report a member. If I felt really creeped out by someone, I might want to block them too.

No, it's not a creeper. It's just spam. Happens all the time. Just report it and delete it.

Sounds like they just want to get a hold of your email address.  You could make your profile private or just open to friends.

I get some creepy emails that seem like they are coming from people I know on facebook, only they are not.  I don't even open them and just report them as spam.

I really hate facebook because of the privacy issues.

Even if it's not spam just one email from someone interested in you is not creepy.  If she kept on emailing you then I would say she is creepy.  I just see a woman who is trying to pick up on you....like men do all of the time.

I see no porblem...no big deal.

The way it is written it sounds like someone in Ghana or Nigeria.  I saw a show the other day that was just sickening.  Men and women are deceived by people posing as an interested party, usually on a dating site.  They start up a long distance relationship, send pics and eventually ask for money in some form.  Come to find out they are not the person or name in the pic and may not even be a female comunicating with a male.

People are taken for their life savings and worse.

I didn't think of that possibility.  It's true it could be a scam.  I still don't think it's creepy I would just want to make sure this person has no access to my personal info.  I would be worried about identity theft now.

I got a weird message the other day also- It was from a 'deactivated memeber"  but was the same type of thing- I dont know if it was from Hanna(?) or not, I just deleted it...there are spammers everywhere (smh!)
