Anyone from Kingston/Belleville area Ontario with band ?

 Just wondering anyone more local to me out there?  Went to a local WLS group and found it difficult  and awkward. As I am a revision to lap band found that new RNYers don't really want to hear about anyone who did not have a great experience. So finding band support is better from banders!

There aren't many shrinking Canuck's on here.  Welcome to the board!  I totally understand your observation of RnYers not understanding the band.  I went to a local support group too and one member told me how stupid I was for chosing the band and how it doesn't work, etc. etc. 

What clinic were you banded at?  Every couple of months I will make the 2+ hour drive to Mississauga and attend a support group meeting at my clinic.
