If your stoma were blocked, you probably wouldn't even be able to swallow clear liquids. If that's the case with you, call your surgeon ASAP.
Often a partial or complete unfill will take care of a blocked stoma, but if that plus a liquid diet for a few days doesn't help, you'd need to have an upper GI x-ray and possibly an upper endoscopy to determine what's causing the blockage and scrape it out of there if possible.
