I need advice

This morning I woke up feeling fine.  After an hour or so, I started feeling really nautious.  I was thinking it might be because I took pills on an empty stomach (at least I hope that's what it is).  Went back to bed and slept another 2-1/2 hrs.

Now I'm up, showered and dressed, but still feel nautious.  I feel like I should eat something, but what?  Normally, I would have a piece of dry toast, but now that's something I shouldn't eat.

Any ideas or suggestions?  I have to leave for work in 30 minutes.

LOL - where did I go to school...  Can't believe I spelled nauseous like that...  I'm attempting an egg over easy and a dry piece of WW toast.

We'll see what happens.  Wish me luck!

DId your doctor give you anything like phenergan for nausea? If you could manage that, it might help. Otherwise, maybe some Carnation Instant Breakfast or something to kind of "coat" your stomach lining at least a little bit?

Breathe deeply. Drink some ginger ale if you have it.

Hope you feel better.

Pills can do the same thing to me.  Not only can I not take anything on an empty stomach but I can't take them early in the morning.  I have always been like that...even before surgery.  I have no problem swallowing them but then they sit in my stomach like a lead weight for hours.  I just wait till about 9am and eat a few wheat crackers and take my vitamins.

I would say to nibble on crackers for awhile.  Maybe take some Pepto-bismol.

Hope you are feeling better!!

A few months ago I had the same feeling, and I felt like that for about a week.  I felt like my stomach was irritated and I was burping nasty stuff up  .I realized it was one of my pills, its a little bigger than a tic tac.  I started to break it in half and haven't had that feeling since.
