Two Years Already??

I received an email today from OH reminding me that today is officially my two year "bandiversary." Wow... I honestly cannot believe it's been two years already. I have to say it was the best decision I've ever made, and in some ways one of the easiest things. I remember being so worried if I was making the right decision and now I couldn't be more grateful for the success I've had. With that being said, I'm not quite to my goal, and have made a pledge to be more disciplined and love that I have this forum to remind myself how far I have come and how little I have to go. Can't wait to be at my final goal!!!!

Happy Bandiversary!!! I just got mine yesterday! It makes me happy to see that you think its one of the best things you have ever done. I have had a lot of people tell me that they hate it or know people who do. But I didnt hesitate. I just felt it was the right thing for me. :) Congrats to you and I wish you so much more success with your band! :)

I'm sore. I feel kinda like a balloon but nothing I cant handle:) I know this was to be expected. How long did it take for your pains to go away? Thank you so much for checking on me. :)

Just banded!!! How exciting! The first few days were a little rough but like you said nothing you can't handle. Everyone is different but I was back to work in three days and felt fine. I too know people who have had "problems" with their band and are frustrated with their results. Stick to your beliefs and you'll do great. Best of luck to you. :)
 

Hey Amber --- My surgery was 5 days before yours (with Dr. Monash) -- don't you just love him!!!

Congratulations!!   You will be at your goal before you know it.

Stay cool -- this Tucson heat requires alot of hydration!

Thank you! I do absolutely adore Dr Monash.... unfortunately I moved to Vegas about 6 months after my surgery so I don't have the luxury of his amazing support anymore. Congrats on your success as well. :)

Congrats Amber on your 2 year bandiversary!  Wow, doesn't the time just fly by?  Mine will be 7/9.
Keep up the great work that you are doing.  It's so worth the effort!
