Small Gain
Hey All,
Had a rough week. Felt really lightheaded. I think my trainer overdid it with me because I could barely walk yesterday. Only made it to the gym twice, although I'm definitely going today. Plus, the scale showed a 1-1/2 lb gain.
But you know what? I'm okay with it. I'll be getting my period next week, so things are going on inside of me for sure.
Also, at my last surgeon's visit, my BP was low (90 over 63), so I'll be going to my PCP today to talk about whether my BP meds need to be at a lower dosage, or if I even need them anymore. I'm already off my inhalers completely.
I just wanted to share, especially with the newbies, that things are going to happen in life, and the scale might reflect that. I know what I need to do, and the weight will continue to come off. All is good.
So if you have a small bump in the road, don't let it destroy you. Just pick yourself up, and get back on the bench. That's my plan.

Congrats getting off the inhalers :o)
Today was my weigh in day and I was up four pounds I'm starting to spot so I know my period is right around the corner and well I will admit eating to much Kettle Corn the last few days probably has not helped matters either I was craving the salt and the sweetness dang period lol. Bad Kettle Corn lol.
Hopefully today will be a better day in the eating department yesterday was a major oops day lol.

It is and I know every month I'm going to have a major weight gain and I know every month for a good week my eating habits are not like they are suppose to be because of that TOM .
At least they are better then what they use to be lol when I was getting ready to start so that is a good thing .
Head hunger always gets me the week of , sometimes I give in and sometimes I dont but I gave in to many times this week so I deserve some of the weight gain it's my fault damn kettle corn lmao.
Hopefully, when I start things will get back to normal again and the cravings and the head hunger wont be so bad
I could take a pin and pop my ankles and get a cup of water out of them that is how much I'm retaining water right now

Barbara- I just wanted to tell you that your small weight gain can be explained with the exercise you are doing. You said you have been working out a lot. When I started I gained a little at first. I was told the following... when you are working out hard your muscles are being broke down and have to repair themselves...during this time you tend to retain lots of fluids in your muscles. It's very normal and actually a good sign that you are on your way to a lean new body!!!!
Keep up the good work and don't let the scale fool you. Working out like that will help you lose inches as well as weight. So as you are losing inches the scale might not go down. I strongly suggest that you keep a log of your measurements. Because as my weight loss has dropped off dramatically after 10 months of losing lots of weight....but I am still continually losing lots of inches. Which I would rather lose inches than weight.

Thank You for the encourging words. I have not really losty anything since I got off the clears and Fulls after surgery. I know that when It is a process, and I only have my band primed.... So thanks again! You have a great day also!
