I did it...was banded yesterday. I'm a wimp, so I am in a lot of pain. I am also having a lot of back and shoulder pain. Groggy from the pain meds. Tolerating small amounts of liquids. Ready to begin my new life!

Congrats!  I'm a big wimp too and was banded this past Feb.  It takes time but you will be back to you and even better before you know it!!!!

Congrats!  Keep sipping and taking short frequent walks.  Occasional deep breaths and coughs or use the incentive spirometer if they gave you one.  If you have any questions we are glad to make suggestions.  We keep working hard to make more room on the Loser's Bench, so there's a spot just for you!  Welcome!

 Way to go! Welcome to the band club. We are a unique group of peeps working towards healthier and happier eating habits.....Pain will def go down in a couple of days to a week. Hang in there!

Congrats on making the decision to be banded.  I don't think that you will regret it. My one piece of advice is to remember that the band is just a small piece of the total plan.  You must still do your part to make it all work.  Read OH daily to stay motivated.  We will all help you to be a success.  Best of luck to you.
