YAY!!!!!

I just recieved an email from our loan company that my lapband loan is officially PAID IN FULL!!!!!  I am soooo excited!  This was soooo worth it and I would do it again in a heartbeat!  This band has helped me to regain my life AND after loosing this weight and getting so much healthier, I was able to have another baby (she is 2 now)!  I know I would have never had that opportunity for such a blessing from God if I hadnt improved my health.  I am looking forward to the rest of my active life now instead of constantly worrying about being the fattest person in  the room or not wanting to leave my house because I looked horrific in anything I put on.  God blessed me with a wonderful supportive husband that has loved my thru skinniness, heaviness, very sick and loads of predinsone.  He allows me to stay at home and take care of our girls and works tons of overtime to pay for my surgery and a trainer to get me healthy.  He has never once complained about how I looked and alway told me I was beautiful and made me feel attractive, even though I couldnt see it!  I am truely blessed and loved by my hubby and two beautiful girls!  Thanks for listening to me ramble...just feeling overly happy today!

I feel the same way you do.. now I just have to find a man to pay for my trainer and tummy tuck LOL (kidding!!)

I'm glad you have a supportive husband .. though you have made the changes in losing weight and getting your health back overall its for the benefit of your family as well... to be around longer and happier as his mom and the mother to your children..who is active and healthy and will be around for LONG time.. (God willing)

I told my hubby that I am giving myself another year to get everything toned and tightened....what doesnt go back in a year probably wont ever go back. soooo, i need everything repaired....tummy tuck, wings clipped, and put the "girls" back to where they were before i got fat...lol! I dont want to be large...just dont want to sag like a 80 yr old anymore! bwahahahaha! have a great day and keep motivating all of us! you are one whose post i read that helped get me back on track! What an amazing success story!  I love to hear them so thanks for posting.  You are indeed lucky and fortunate to have such a loving and supportive husband in you life that loves you unconditionally.  That is really hard to find!

BTW - I have saggy skin and such but I agree - I HAD to get the girls done!  :) I was too young to go through life self-conscious about that one stupid thing that was easily fixed.  The rest of the stuff I can deal with having...it's better than being morbidly obese!

Lisa...I do absolutely LOVE my band! I gained 40 lbs over the last 2 years after having my premmie daughter. The first year of her life we stayed inside for fear of her getting sick. But I have never blamed the band at all...it didnt fail me, I failed the band by not getting my fills to get to the sweet spot and not following the rules of the band. I learned how to eat around my band and had head hunger, not true hunger. But I am back on track now! I cant wait to see how I am next year at this time. I lost 115 the first year I had my lapband. I need to lose 90 - 100 more (including the 40 i put on) but I know it is possible. I have to stay on this website all day to keep me motivated. I read posts from you and Hermosa and I tell myself that I can do this too! Thanks!
