Interesting, as more people get sleeve, more failures are seen

Regain is not the issue with any of these surgeries because regain is possible with all of them.  All of them require about the same type of diet, low carb, high protein.  Some require more supplements than others.  If one CAN stick to the low carb, high protein diet, they will lose and keep it off if the surgery is successful in all other ways.

HOWEVER, it is the quality of life and how important that is to the WLS patient that should be the deciding factor.  The sleeve is the one surgery that is the least disruptive to daily living.  It makes you eat less, most everything else is the same.

I think it is very hard for some of us to understand the experience of others if we haven't experienced it ourselves.  I have experienced both lap band and sleeve.  It is hard for me to imagine not having difficulties with the band because my experience was mostly negative.  The sleeve has been so much easier to live with that I really want those researching WLS to know that there is a greater chance to have a better quality of life with the sleeve.

I think the majority of band to sleeve revisions have good intentions when they post their experiences.

I completely agree.  From having both surgeries I will say day to day living and eating with the sleeve is more predictable and less of a struggle.
