So on Friday I was 249, by Monday I was 254?  WTF???  I KNOW I didn't eat an extra 17,500 calories over the weekend, I don't know if that is even possible at this point.  Please tell me I'm not losing my mind.  I will say and I don't know if this has any effect on it, but on Friday I got a really bad sunburn, blisters etc, and I just started my period today...someone please tell me those things can effect my weight loss....I stepped on the scale this morning and damn near fainted.  I know I am able to eat more then a cup of food, but I haven't and I can tell you, even if I did, I couldn't eat that many extra calories in 2 days.   I think I would stick hot pokers in my eyes before I do that!!!!!   I'm just worried and I don't wanna screw this up..please help...I'm so down and out this.  I do weigh myself every day, it helps keep me on track.

Please please help...I'm so worried and upset.....

Not to worry most gain pre menstrual and it can be several lbs. I imagine the sunburn could also contribute by trying to hold on to any fluids that are there to ease the burn. So just hang on for a few days and you should start dropping again. Just a bump in the road.

You need to stop worrying its going to happen and if you do this every month you are going to drive yourself insane and then you will give up and do something you shouldn't be doing . Been there done that .

I will gain anywhere from 4 -10 pounds before my period.   No lie.  I retain water something awful and when its summertime and hot out it's ten times worse .

Plus if you are like me I crave more sodium during that time of the month I try to watch it but it dont always happen and that dont  help matters  either . Sodium is the worst thing for a person trying to lose weight.

I will be like this a week before my period till the time I end my period.  I know its coming and there is not a dang thing I can do about it . It's all part of nature .

Also you need to know you will stall on weight loss and it can last anywhere from a week to months of no weight loss.  Been there done that also.

I have stalled for six weeks and I have stalled for two weeks .    All you can do is eat your three healthy meals, exercise and the weight will come off.

I can weigh in on Friday and lose 2 pounds and then on Monday be 4 pounds heavier. Weather, TOM,  not enough water, rich sodium foods will all play effect on your weight loss .

You need to pick one day and weigh in.  dont weigh in everyday I think it plays to many mind tricks on you and you will just upset yourself over nothing .

Thank you both...Does everyone freak out like this, or am I the only one?  Or maybe I'm the only one that puts it out there every day that I'm flipping out???  LMAO!!

I guess I'm seriously so scared of failing.  I truly truly am.  I will just give it a couple of days and hopefully all will be well again!!!

Thank you very much everyone!!!!

I can fluctuate up to 4 pounds in a day.  My weight in the morning is about 4 pounds different on some days by the afternoon and evening.  It all depends on what I ate that day, how much water I got in, was I on my feet all day and am I a little swelled up.   My period effects it, many, many things go into this equation.  Don't make yourself a nervous wreck.  I know sometimes we need assurance though.  Hope this helps.
