Newbie here ~on pre-op diet....

Hi All,

I just started my pre-op diet on June 3rd and so far it is going pretty good.
My lap-band surgery date is on June 17th and I am getting a little nervous, but also excited to start a new healthier life.  Well, I just wanted to say hi to everyone and look forward to reading and joining in on the posts.  It really makes me feel so much better to hear all of the positive things that my fellow lap banders will have to say.

My surgery is the 17th also with the same docs. Are you having it at SOCH? I know there are 3 surgeries that day and my friend and I are 2 of them. Good luck on pre-op diet today is day 3 for me also.

I was so happy to get your reply!  I guess it is you, your friend and me that day, and yes at SOCH.

I am not having such a bad time on the pre -op diet so far, and I hope you and your friend are doing well on it too.  Well, here is to a the three of us and a happy and healthier future.  Maybe we will be roomies.

I also are on the pre-op diet. My surgery is June 10th. I've already lost 12 lbs on the preop diet. Good luck, I am going to friend ya to keep in touch.

 Congrats to everyone! I'm also scheduled to have my surgery on June 15th. Very excited :)

Question: What does a "daily menu" look like for you guys on your pre-op diet?

My pre-op diet is really not to bad... I have 4 protien shakes a day and I can have 6-8 servings of raw veggies, yogurt, sugar free pudding, oatmeal, cream of wheat or v-8 juice a day.  i haven't stepped on the scale yet , but I have only been on it since June 3rd.

I stepped on today. I am down 6.2 pounds.
