I have been at my same weight for the past 3 mos and am really frusrated. Of coarse alot of it is my fault, just been eating all the wrong things and can't seen to get off the carbs/sweets.  Has anyone  tried the plateau diet and if so, what kind of results did you have?

WITH GOD, EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

What is the plateau diet?
I too was plateaued for over 2 months and went in and had a small fill. I too was eating all the wrong things and was experiencing the same thing as you. I decided to stay on my liquid diet for a full week after I had my fill and I dropped over 5# by doing so! And now I don't crave those sweets and carbs any more...whew
I have always wondered what people consider to be the plateau diet!
Good luck to you

Hi, Norma,

I have 2 versions stored on my blog.  I used this early on and if you can stick with it for the full 10 days you should lose weight.  I believe I lost 6 lbs the last time I did it for the full 10 days.  It's basically a very low car diet that was developed to rid you of carb cravings and jump start your weight loss during a stall.  Keep in mind, a plateau is when your weight loss has stalled for more than 2 weeks.  Everyone will have fluctuations as your body adjusts to it's new die****er retention, etc.

There are two versions of this diet.  Both are posted here for your use.  I have know idea which one is best, (version II has fruits and veggies added).  I did the one without fruits and veggies.

To clarify the protein in each version, (I found this confusing), I just stuck to my normal 60-80 grams.  Some interpret it to mean that you should supplement your normal protein with 45 additional grams but I found that hard to do.

Best~
