I am starting my pre-op diet today. I have to do it for 2 weeks. I am so excited to be on my way. I am looking forward to my new life. I know I will have to work hard but I am ready! Off to get dressed and take a before picture.

Good luck on your new adventure.  I was where you are eight weeks ago and was worried about what was ahead of me.  I didn't know if I could do the liquid diet and succeed.  I will tell you now that it was a breeze.  There are days that it is challenging, but I sure did enjoy the weight loss that came with the liquids!  LOL  I hope you enjoy the marvelous ride of getting banded!

Pictures are a great idea.  The psychologist involved with my surgeon reccomended a picture once a month, to help the mind catch up to the body.  I don't know if I would take one once a week, that might not be long enough to really see a change.  I would deffinately weigh in every week and record it.    I would try not to get on the scale more than that, the flucuations will drive you crazy.  These are the things that worked for me, you need to do what works for you.

I will take a picture today, one the day of surgery and then probably once a month.
