There are many variables --- age, co-morbidities, insurance considerations

There are recent studies indicating that the band can/should be used on patients with a BMI as low as 30

Most insurance companies will not pay for surgery unless your BMI is 35 with 2 or more co-morbidities, or BMI of 45 with no co-morbidities

Thank you Kathy, I'm 5'0" I weight 166 pounds and I'm 41.. to some I know that's nothing but as the years go by the harder its becoming for me to lose weight & my height makes it worst.

Thank you Very Much for your reply.
