Yesterday I had a NSV- I fit in one of my jeans again I wore last time around 2 years ago. So when my partner came home from work, I said to him: " so what do you say?" - "you look very pretty"- "Thanks honey, I look slimmer, don't I?" And his reply was: "I will never say you look pretty because you are skinnier or fatter. To me, you are my pretty lady."
I needed to share this with you, as I think Crissy wrote just yesterday how she feels bad how we beat ourselves up about our "before" looks. Plus I thought that was a very sweet comment from my sweetheart :)

What a lovely thing to read first thing in the morning!!! Hug that man:)
I had a dear friend recently say something to me that touched me. I was frustrated at my weight and was venting to her. She looked me dead in the eye and said, "I can't see that". When I asked my friend of 22 years how she could not she simply replied, "I see you with my heart". One of the sweetest things anyone has ever said to me.
Fat, skinny or in between I never want it to alter who I am:)

It's a special person who sees true beauty fat or thin.  I never believe there were men that could love an obese woman until I tested God's plan and went on line.  The first person that answered my ad, (which was pretty off putting and challenging), became my husband 7 months later.  He's average weight and totally handsome!  The only one in our relationship that had issues with my then 330 self was me!  Once I accepted and truly believed that he loved me just the way I was, I was ready to lose the weight that inprisoned me for so many years.  I got my band a year after our wedding and lost 100+ lbs.  He's proud of my accomplishment but nothing's really changed in his eyes except we can do more fun activities than we could before and I'M much happier and prouder than I was before.  Here are some before and after pictures to show that there are good guys out there that can truly see past obesity.
