MENU
Can someone just give me a sample of a typical day's menu? I just went on solids and this packet with the food guidelines says 3 meals no snacks but continue with shakes? That does not make sense. I would starve to death without shakes in between the mini meals. Also i feel like a walking zombie.......like I'm running out of gas, cant sleep enough and picked up 5 lbs in the mushy week.......HELP
When I started solids I was told no shakes because they want us to get our protein from our food unless we get a fill . Every doc is different though and mine likes us to have snacks it keeps your metabolism working all day long .
Here is what I ate today.
Breakfast 2 eggs and 2 small pieces of turkey sausage it equals to be about a cup
Lunch BBQ chicken , green beans
Dinner grilled pork chops, baked potato, broccoli
Snacks I made homemade beef jerky today so been having that for my snacks .
But usually I grab a handful of peanuts for snacks when I get hungry
tomorrow's menu is
Breakfast grilled pork chop and cottage cheese
Lunch doing errands so eating out somewhere
Dinner chicken on the grill and grilled veggies
I gained six pounds during mushy stage also it will come back off

I gained six pounds during mushy stage also it will come back off
I gained weight in the mushies stage too. Don't worry, it will come off. My doctor also says no snacks, but he said if you are really REALLY hungry (and make sure it's not head hunger), have something small and healthy. In the morning, it can be difficult for some to eat because the band tends to be tighter when you first get up. So, if I have to leave early for work, I have a protein shake for breakfast. Also, in the evening, if I haven't gotten in all my protein, I'll have a shake.

Can you exercise yet? Once I was able to start working out, I slept like a baby...
