You should not hurt to eat. Go back to your surgeon or whoever does your fills. Sounds like you have too much fluid. i've been there and it's not fun! They can do a tiny unfill (.2 or .3 cc) and it will make a world of difference.
It's really common not to lose weight when you are too tight because we tend to eat things like puddings and ice cream and soup which doesn't keep us full very long.

You should not be in pain. You need to call your surgeon. I have never had pain except for 4 stuck episodes in almost 2 years. You need to be able to eat dense protein to work your band.
The band is not meant to work with liquids, they just go right on through and don't help with hunger.
