yes, I started drinking the smoothies because I don't get enough veggies.
My standard...
1-2 cups bagged spinach(some days 1 cup, some days 2)
1 cup water(or sometimes I use no sugar added almond milk)
1/2 banana
protein powder
little ice
can use any fruit in place of banana, add davinci sf syrups, etc. and I just recently added a product called Amazing Grass.(lol)
I'll go check your thread out! Thanks for replying.

Oh yes, my dear....I am ALL about trying new and fun foods which parallel my goal at maintaining. :) I think you'll like the hot cereal. I have converted my family to that from oatmeal since its so protein packed. I add raisins & such to theirs and a little cream to keep smiles on their faces. I post my menu every day so please just ask if you see anything that peaks your interest, okay?
Of course, I am heavily addicted to Shelly's 5-Minute Protein Cakes and her Protein Ice Cream as well...just bought my ice cream maker about 2 months ago and the flavor options are endless with my 14 flavors of DaVinci Sugar-Free Syrups! HAHAAA I'm all about my food...you should see my monthly Netrition orders. I get all giddy when they arrive - I know, I need to get a life!

No prob, I have it saved as bookmark so I can copy/paste - people ask all the time. Also includes information on the cold protein cereal I eat.
"Honestly, the Hi-Lo Protein Cereal (made by Nutritious Living) has me completely hooked and tastes fab with our without syrups (I just add them sometimes to switch it up so I don't get bored, but its sweetened already and delicious on its own). It comes in three flavors: Original, Maple Pecan & Vanilla Almond. All are delish and have the consistency of bran flakes (its the new Raisin Bran lol). Here are the lovely stats per (very filling) 1/2c serving:
Cal: 90
Fat: 2g
Carbs: 13 (but net carbs are only 6g!!)
Fiber: 7g
Sugars: 1g
Protein: 12g
Unbelievable, right?
Same goes for the Flax Snax Hot Cereal...that one comes in 4 flavors: Strawberries-n-Cream (my fave), Blueberries-n-Cream, Bananas-n-Cream and Cinnamon Spice (2nd fave lol). I love them all and only add syrup to the cinnamon one to enhance the spicyness, but its not even necessary - they are all sweet enough. :) Stats per 1/2c serving (again, very filling, thick oatmeal-y stuff):
Calories: 140
Fat: 6g (0 sat or trans)
Carbs: 13g (but net carbs are only 1g - crazy good!)
Fiber: 12g
Sugars: 0g
Protein: 12g
I buy all of my goodies at www.netrition.com. $4.95 flat shipping and very competitive prices.
