Hi Gang,

Hope everyone has had a great weekend.  I am two week out from surgery. For almost 2 weeks I have really bad shoulder pain. But that seems to have gone away the last couple days YEAH!  I am down about 23 lbs now.

I have about 2 more weeks to go on liquid and then I get mushy foods  YEAH !  Sad when you can get excited about mushy LOL.

I have to say I feel lucky that I havent been real bothered when it comes to being around other eating. There has only been 2 times that dinner smelled so good that I wanted to cheat and I ended up going outside for awhile instead.

I think it has also helped that my daughter who is still at home, does all the cooking for dinner. But I cooked dinner yesterday and was still good to go.

Hope everyones rest of the day is great, think I will go for a walk

Good job, already! It;s nice to have you join us on the losers bench. Oh, and yeah, I was so flipping happy to see mushies I was nearly delirious. I was starving! I still hate the liquids after a fill. Oh well, gotta do what ya gotta do.

I have to agree with Wendy.  When I got to have anything that could go up a straw, I pureed so much ugly, but delicious stuff.  Mushies were much more a slice of heaven than soft or regular foods.  Glad you seem to have such a good attitude and handle on the liquids.  It is so worth it.  Keep it up.

Congrats and welcome to the losers bench!! Sounds like everything is going great,so far. The shoulder pain was probably left over gas from the surgery. I used to have to leave the house at dinner time and do "my walking", LOL (sometimes someone would be grilling and I would be salivating during the walk)  It may get worse, thank goodness for mushies. I would, "almost"  just taste a little when I cooked and then catch myself, just in time.Good luck on your WL journey!!!
Mari  Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!
