640 for Schrod.
It's no wonder my weight loss has stalled.
Here I thought there would be some great meal choices, but not that salmon. The herbed salmon is 440, better but higher than I would normally eat.
Thank goodness for my new mobile diet tracker!
I had no idea!
We are eating more meals at home from now on, that is for sure!
And I am getting back with my nutritionist this Wednesday.....

Wendy:
I could not believe it. I was all set to eat there tonight. Thank goodness I looked it  up last night before the damage was done - again!
I asked the nutrionist what they could possibly do to ruin a perfectly good salmon dinner with about a half a cup of jasmine rice, and a few spears of asparagus. They must drown it in oil and butter....
What an eye opener!

Yes, I have a "Fat Tracker" on my Blackberry. My surgeon suggested it. Thank goodness!
Cheers!

What is that about?  A serving for ANTS?  Crazy, I tell you. LOL

I can't eat more than 1/2 of any restaurant meal -- so, really that salmon would not be a bad choice for me.

I usually eat
B -- 200 calories
L -- 300 calories
D -- 400 calories

Usually 2, 100-calorie(ish) snacks a day ---- so, that dinner could work for me.

Glad you have a method of tracking that works for you, though ----
In California, they now have to have the calorie counts for ALL food right there on the menu -- it is a complete eye-opener.

You are right on that, Kath!  It SO is an eye-opener now that they do that here. On the other hand, it also almost makes me RUN out of some of those restaurants.  EGADS!  LOL But like you, I eat about half or so, so I keep that in mind and half all of the totals when making my selections. :)

Yes eating half of a regular sized restaurant meal is always a good practice, however, if you saw this portion, you'd know it's smaller than what you'd normally expect.
See above reply for a description...
It's just deception pure and simple!
Cheers!

Well, the only issue is that the portion is NOT large!
The salmon can't be more than four ounces, and there are only about 4 spears of asparagus, and about a half a cup of jasmine rice.
So what you actually get isn't even a real "whole" restaurant portion....
Luckily, they have the Herbed salmon which is 440 cals....
But I'm eating more meals at home now....
Cheers!
